Wedding Invitations

I am supposed to be working on designing our wedding invitation, so in an attempt to stall for time, I am doing another very worthy occupation--informing our readership of our wedding progress!

A few weeks ago I thought most of our plans were complete. We had gotten all the big stuff settled, and I had failed to think about the thousands of small things. That is until Amanda abruptly reminded me of everything we had to accomplish.

One thing I can say is thank God for technology. I'm usually not a very big fan of technology, but Google Docs is just nifty. Amanda and I can be editing our guest list or todo list at the same time while we are miles apart. It's really romantic, until I get a nasty message from her saying it's not working right. (Just kidding, she hasn't messaged me anything nasty)

Planning for a wedding can be stressful at times. I am so glad we decided on a simple wedding. I can't imagine what horror of stress we would be in if we had opted for more of the traditional affair.

Invitations should go out in the next few days. Once you receive it, I expect all of you to put it on your refrigerator (or other prominent place) so that you can think about and pray for us as we put final touches on the wedding.
